Let me start off by congratulating all 37 racers; whether racing for overall time, trying to set a PR or running to complete the distance, you all did awesomely!
The cool conditions on the day were perfect, and spurred on by such beautiful running weather many people set personal bests. Both the Men’s and Women’s teams had great showings, both in terms of attendance and speed. Our top man, Pavel, placed 29th overall with a 21:03. Pavel and Markus also received age group awards: 5th and 8th respectively. Our top woman, Anna, placed 22nd over and 1st in age group with a 24:38. Overall the Women’s team placed 7th and the Men’s team was 8th overall.
