Due to a major event in Central Park, the date of the 2012 Grete’s Great Gallop in Support of AKTIV Foundation half-marathon has been changed from September 29 to October 14, and it will begin at 10:30 a.m. The Kids’ Races will begin at 8:30 a.m. If you can run with us in Central Park on Sunday, October 14, no action on your part is necessary. This race is still a 9+1 guaranteed-entry qualifier. Visit the race page for more details. If you’re a current Grete’s Great Gallop in Support of AKTIV Foundation entrant who cannot run with us on October 14, e-mail us by July 31 and you will still receive one 9+1 guaranteed race toward our program for the 2013 ING New York City Marathon.
