Thursday – Long Road Run
Time: 6:00am
Distance: 8-10 miles
Pace: 8:30-9:30/mi
Effort: Moderate to Comfortably Hard
Led by: Cherie & Nelson
Meet: Oak & Franklin (Cookie Road)
Our route will be determined each Thursday morning based on who is there and what we feel like doing. We generally run to and around Roosevelt Island, or do some version of the bridges (Brooklyn, Manhattan, Williamsburg, Queensborough — it’s more fun if you do two different ones).

Hey guys! I just joined the group and would love to join the Thursday morning run. Where is the run starting tomorrow?

Comment by Carolyn August 18, 2010 @ 9:53 amCherie and Nelson will lead a group of intrepid individuals through the streets of Brooklyn, and sometimes Manhattan and Queens, for runs of 9-13 miles. Pace will be conversational, fun will be had.
