NBR Update on COVID-19

Hello again, team,

Wanted to share one important piece of information from the Board—both because I know it has been on everyone's minds lately, and because I am sure it will come up at tomorrow's meeting.

During this crisis, we have continued to look to official New York State and New York City guidelines to lead our actions. This has applied to our cessation of public gatherings (i.e., cancelling our runs), upholding of social distancing protocol, and, more currently, adoption of masks. The North Brooklyn Runners Board, per Governor Cuomo's executive order No. 202.17, officially recommends that anyone who is medically able should wear a mask or cloth covering over their nose and mouth, when in a public place where they are not able to maintain social distance.

We hope this provides some clarity and allows our community to run safely and harmoniously.

Let us know if there are any questions.
