NYC Marathon 2022 Team Spot Followup

Austin Lo -

Finishers Time: 3:42:08

Highlight of the Day: The crowds! Fun-running NYC without the pressure of racing was amazing. Got to soak in all of the energy. Paced a friend and although she missed her time by 2 minutes, still qualified for Boston!

Post-Race Meal: Beer & pizza... duh

Next Goal: My own BQ

Megan Stoutz -

Finishers Time: 3:38:32

Highlight of the Day: Starting corral with Fernando, Robin, and Shanna- who were the exact mix of chill and excited that you want in a starting corral. And the NBR after party was a blast.

Post-Race Meal: The ultimate beverage trifecta (coke, beer, coffee). Followed by pizza- thanks NBR!

Next Goal: Going to try my hand at indoor track this winter! Just hoping to have some fun with running for a while.

Shayna Braitman-

What a day it was running the marathon! It was filled with so many highs and lows. Due to the heat and lack of hydration my time did not reflect the best version of myself but it didn’t stop me from having fun.

My highlight of my day was seeing all of my friends and family at mile 12. Running into Williamsburg heating all the music and crowds was something I’ll never forget. I honestly felt like a celebrity.

After a long 18 weeks of training I think I’m going to take some time off from running marathons. I’ve signed up for the NYC and Philly half marathon in the spring and just hope to enjoy some fun runs for 2023.

Representing NBR for the marathon was truly one of my greatest accomplishment!
